Since I haven’t been very good at blogging updates for awhile, I figured I would challenge myself every Sunday to do a list of 5. Be it movies, music, TV, blogs, books or something totally random…I will do it every Sunday (unless I am at the cottage where dial up might drive me to jump into the lake). Without further ado and bs…Sunday’s 1st Five.

1.Review!! Jaye Wells - Red-Headed Stepchild (Book)

I received an email this week from my twin aka Sidhe Vicious telling me I had to get a copy of Jaye Wells first novel, Sidhe was blown away by it. So of course I can’t say no to a good book and off I went on a Chapter’s mission. Two chapters in, I was HOOKED. The character’s are amazing (who couldn’t love a cat who’s really a demon in shape-shifting form), a kick ass half vampire heroine, and a hot Madge?! It’s worth the trip to Chapter’s, you MUST read this book. Great debut novel, can’t wait for the next book!! 4.5/5

2. Rant!!

I don’t know what it is with the people of my fair city (Toronto), but I don’t think many people know the proper way to walk down a city street! If you are a group of more than 2 people, please don’t walk all together. I may be small, but for the love of all things nice left in me, MOVE THE FUNK OVER. This week I have nearly lost it because people don’t respond to excuse me please, and continue to walk in huge groups that no one can pass. So please, do everyone a favour and shove over.

4. Rant!!

Okay, Twilight Fans listen up. I feel incredibly disappointed with the ladies of Vancouver, BC. Unless you live under a rock, or aren’t a Twilight Fan, you know New Moon is being filmed in Vancouver right now. That’s fine and dandy, us Canadian’s have movies filmed all over Canada and usually don’t give a shit who’s around. But, Rob Pattinson has changed that and turned seemingly normal woman into insane stalker beasts. I have seen various candid fan shots of Rob + Fan this week that have been incredibly creepy. Rob in a bar trying to hide out, Rob chased around into an elevator where fan asks for picture. Sometimes the back story on these pictures have made it worse. Fan in the elevator just “happened” to be in the elevator with Rob, Rob refused to talk but posed in the elevator for a picture. CREEPY. Rob at a party with his jacket on hood up, someone takes a picture of his back. CREEPY. Give the guy a break ladies, does he need to spend every minute he’s not filming posing for pictures or answering the same damn questions over and over again? Leave the poor guy be. I promise not to go stalker beast if I ever meet Rob, I’d rather talk about what book he’s reading or what’s his new favorite band. But that’s just me.
