Two of my favorite Vixen’s tag-teamed an interview of yours truly. Prepare to be very afraid. Thanks to The Book Vixen & Kindle Vixen for making me have to think about myself more than I wanted too!

BV: Where did your moniker, Wicked Little Pixie, come from?

WLP: When I first got online ages ago, I was still taking dance lessons & loved the Nutcracker: Waltz of the Sugar Plum Fairy. So I was SPF for awhile & somehow it took a turn for the worst and I became Wicked Lil Pixie which stuck.

KV: Tell me about this slightly odd obsession you have with UFC fighting? How did you start watching it and if you were a fighter would u have a special nick name?

WLP: How is it odd? I love MMA & UFC! I am not just one of those females who sit there & stare at the eye-candy, nope not this chick. I know what a rear naked choke is, I know the fighters by name. I started watching it in high school when a friend of mine was in training for MMA but fell in love about 8 years ago watching it with my boyfriend. We catch every fight and I have even went sans boyfriend to meet one of my favorite fighters! I’d be the Pixie of course!

BV: Favorite band/singer?

WLP: I am a huge music fan, so this is an unfair question! I listen to a lot of different things, from Portishead to Static-X, Rammstein to Kings of Leon, Dave Matthews to Jamiroquai.

KV: Do you have lucky underwear? You know what I am talking about… underwear that guarantees you get lucky? 

WLP: LOL! No, sorry to be boring but nope.

BV: Favorite movie?

WLP: I am ashamed to admit, I am not a big movie junkie. But I’d have to American History X. I watched it in my high school media class many moons ago and witnessed a teacher nearly vomit while running out of the room during a pretty brutal scene. The whole movie and in-class thing stuck with me.

KV: Can you wear heels without falling on your face? (if so can you give me lessons?)

WLP: Umm..can’t all woman? But yes, I totally can. I love my heels since I’m only 5’4 I need all the help I can get!

BV: Favorite book-to-movie adaptation?

WLP: To be honest, none. I like my books to stay on the pages so I can put my own spin on the characters. I hate seeing good books ruined by being made into movies.

KV: On the topic of shoes, what is your go to fuck me shoes/boots/pumps? 

WLP: I have knee high leather square toed boots that I love more than life itself. Back in the day I had HUGE FM Boots, but alas the leather died a strange death & I busted a heel taking a flying flip on my arse down some stairs at a bar!

BV: Last book bought for yourself?

WLP: That would have to be the first two books in Anton Strout’s series Dead to Me and Deader Still. Love Simon, he’s my new favorite male lead!

KV: I know you don’t read a ton of romance books, but what type of book hero gets you going? If you could choose any one Book Boyfriend to make real and all yours, who would it be? (please note, I reserve the right to veto your choice if I have already claimed him).

WLP: Did you miss the whole Romance in the PARANORMAL ROMANCES I review? LMAO. Eric from Charlaine Harris’ Sookie series, yes please!

BV: Last book you received as a gift?

WLP: Jenna Maclaine’s newest, Bound By Sin. It took a month and a trip through Columbia to get to me but I got all teary when I saw it. Jenna rocks.

KV: What is your favorite part of a man’s body?

WLP: I’m boring, but their eyes….though I am not opposed to a bum that can bounce a quarter.

BV: Last book you gave as a gift?

WLP: I gave one of my best friends a copy of Beautiful Creature’s for Christmas.

KV: What is your favorite part of your body?

WLP: My legs, I may be 5’4 but I am still rocking my dancers legs!

BV: All-time favorite book?

WLP: Seriously? You’re asking me THIS question?! I plead the fifth, even though I’m Canadian!

KV: What is your favorite part of book blogging?

WLP: The interaction, I’ve met so many great readers, bloggers & authors. I lurve you guys. *wipes tears*

BV: Book you think everyone should read?

WLP: That’s a hard one. I think Celestine Vision by James Redfield, I know not a PR or UF book, but one that’s stuck with me since I read it in high school.

KV: Do you have any interesting talents you would like to share with us? (ie … you can fold yourself in entirely in half, touch your tongue to your nose)

WLP: Hmm..my left baby toe is double jointed and I can make it spin in circles. Yes, I can put my legs behind my head, but we aren’t close enough for that to ever happen.

BV: Top 3 Favorite authors (cause it’s hard to pick just one!)?

WLP: You do know this is going to get me assaulted right? I’d have to say…. Dakota Cassidy (cause she’d kick my ass if I didn’t praise her like the goddess she is) all kidding aside, Dakota’s writing was one of the first to make me laugh so hard I cried. Jenna Maclaine, because I haven’t ever read another Vampire Historical PR that I loved as much as hers and I don’t think I ever will. And finally, not last nor least, Mark Henry because it takes a lot of balls to write the kinda snarky stuff he does about a female and sound realistic. Have I mentioned that he writes about Fleshlights? How can you not love that!

KV: Are you a pillow biter, or a screamer? 

WLP: Whatever are you talking about?! I’m a lady & ladies don’t discuss that where her oldest sister’s Book Club can see. Ahem.

BV: Team Bill or Team Eric?

WLP: Oh god ERIC. He was my favorite in the books and to see Alexander up there looking just like I thought he did. YUMMAH!

KV: How long have you been with your boyfriend and what does he think of your blogging habits? 

WLP: Seven years this June! I know he thinks I spend too much money on books and just tonight gave me the grumbles about buying an E-Reader. As to the blog, I know he peeks in every so often but he really doesn’t say much about it. It’s safer that way!

BV: Team Edward or Team Jacob?

WLP: Neither. I honestly can’t stand the Twilight Series. (ducks) But I can’t wait to see how they try and fix the mess that is Breaking Dawn for screen. I’ll be all over that!

KV: What is the worst book you read last year? 

WLP: Without a doubt it was….really bad. I may even have reviewed it here prior to this being strictly a review blog. Muhaha. Try and find it.

BV: Favorite BDB brother? (Sorry, John Matthew is taken; he’s mine!)

WLP: Well too damn bad chicky, I love John Matthew too! Deal with it! Lol

KV: You seem to do a lot of shopping for cat food, have you thought about ordering online?

WLP: My darling Seamus eats 3 to 3.5 Cans of Fancy Feast a day, so damn straight I do a lot of cat food shopping. But nope, no way would I trust that to online shopping. What if it came late? He’d gnaw on me instead, no thanks! lol

BV: Which author would you give your right arm to meet?

WLP: None? Lol. I am right handed I need that! Really, not just one. I’d love to meet so many, all at once. I’m sick that way. I’d love to meet Nicole Peeler, just to see if she’d show up in nipple tassels. LOL

BV: Which book captured your heart?

WLP: Summer Sisters by Judy Blume, it is one of the ONLY books I can re-read, over and over again.

BV: Which book made you cry your eyes out?

WLP: My Sister’s Keeper made me bawl like a baby, the ending damn near killed me! I was so shocked.

BV: If your life was a book, what would the title be?

WLP: Isn’t it obvious? Wicked Lil Pixie!
