Everybody (but me) Loves Edward

I’ve admitted before, I am not a huge Twilight fan. I do think Edward’s cute, but Rob Pattinson normally, not so much my friends. He makes me uncomfortable, his interviews are ackward (yes I know some people find that cute, but not I). The picture to the side is what I like about Rob, those lips. Yummah. The rest, I’ll pass on. I read an interview where he said Canadian’s have bad teeth, I was not impressed. Pot meet Kettle.
It’s become an ongoing joke that my boyfriend finds Edward/Twilight pictures and emails them to me. Weirdly enough, I had planned this post before he sent me this picture. Horrid isn’t it. *shudders*
Why an Edward/Rob post you ask? Because whilst out today my Best Friend goes, “Hey isn’t that the guy you like?” Of course I spin around like a moron wondering what in the world is she talking about and then I spot it. A flyer for a Vampire Ball in Toronto. I’d post the flyer, but I don’t want to get into copywrite issues with anyone. Needless to say, the guy looks IDENTICAL to Edward Cullen in this picture, I had to double take and then I realized, whoa not him. Sadly, he does not have the pictures on his modeling/photography site.
In anycase, it’s the make up ladies (well girls and kids) Rob Pattinson is NOT Edward Cullen. It’s amazing what a little (or a lot) of makeup does isn’t it?
Because to me, Edward is always going to be more attractive then Rob.

I’m with you. I don’t like Edward/Rob. It was always Jackson { Jasper} and Kellan {Emmett} for me. Plus, Rob is a snob during some of his interviews, just plain boring to watch mainly.
Kellan yes, Jackson killed it for me when he made the Edward Scissorhands face. Mind you I saw him on the OC last week and he’s kinda cute. lol
I have never seen a guy that can be so cute one second and then horrid the next.

I think Rob can be attractive, then weirdly unattractive. He never looked like Edward to me. I agree the image you have in your head is always better than what they put on film.
He’s a weird one, I’ve never known an actor to be able to look hot then so unattractive you think its not the same person.
I don;t find him attractive at all and I haven’t seen Twilight, nor have I read the books because nobody gets that kind of time invested outta me unless they’re Stephen King or Dean Koontz. Maybe, maybe I’d hoe the row for SEP. MAYBE.
I didn’t even know the character names until I was forced to choose between him and Jacob. If I gotta pick a team with a gun to my head, I’m down with jacob.

I’m a dirty old woman right there with ya, Dakota! I don’t know if I’ve said this on here before, but eldest niece (who is 14) came back from seeing New Moon and said, “Auntie Jenna, everyone’s going to be on Team Jacob now! Edward’s all pale and has these nasty blue circles under his eyes and when he took his shirt off he had really bad chest hair in weird tufts. And then Jacob took off his shirt….” Of course, I’d seen the trailers and I was like, “Kid, you’ve got some drool right here.” It’s pretty sad when you’re mackin’ on some 17 year old hottie with your 14 year old niece! Just call me Mrs. Robinson! Hell, I was in college when he was still in underoos! That’s just wrong on so many levels but the boy is the best-looking dude in that series. Peter Facinelli is seriously hot but they ruin all the vampires for me with the “vampire make-up.” Did they do a better job of toning it down in New Moon? I refused to sit in a theater with a bunch of screaming teens and tweens so I’m waiting for the DVD…

I admit a few pics of Rob were swoon worthy, the jogging pants picture and the smoke picture from GQ. But really, meh. I like men, not boys who don’t shower! lol
I have to agree with you all! Rob’s not attractive, if you don’t like the homeless-look. He looked kind of good as Edward in Twilight, but not as good in New Moon. Maybe it’s his haircut? His hair was nice in Twilight, not as nice in New Moon and is awful in real life!

I’m with you all on this…I liked him for a little bit as Edward when it was just the posters and I hadn’t seen the movie. Do you remember all those pics of him with that freaking stocking cap? Killed me. I will confess to you all that I loved the books because they were my first vamp books; I had only read Tolkien type fantasy before then, so I have a softspot for the books. I loved the werewolves, and Jacob in the book when he didn’t seem like a child. But then came the Cat & Bones, The Black Dagger Brotherhood and The Immortals After Dark Series…Edward became a distant memory. *snicker*
LOL I think I didnt like it was much because I had been reading adult vampire uf/pr books before they came out, so it was a little “beneath” you know? He just needs a good shower, new teeth and a stylist LMFAO
BAAHAHAHAHA No kidding. Shower please!!! I think you are right… I hadn’t been a romance reader either until then. Some fantasy had hot stuff, and I loved the books I’d been reading all those years, but paranormal romance and urban fantasy is so cool- it was like entering a whole new world. Twilight is pretty dang tame compared to what I read now! Ahemmm… and I have you all to show me the way!

Yeah, seeing pictures of him in real life where it looked like he hadn’t bathed since he was on the set kinda ruined any yumminess he may have had for me. Why do guys (especially actors, it seems) do that? I mean, dudes, wash your hair! It’s not like you’ve got so much of it that a good shampoo and blow dry is a big time factor. Seriously.
