It’s been three months since psychologist Megan Chase made the stunning discovery that the world is filled with demons, and once more the situation is too hot to handle. Ironically, Megan — the only person in the world without a little personal demon sitting on her shoulder — has become the leader of a demon “family,” but now some unknown arcane power is offing her demons in a particularly unpleasant fashion. And while her demon lover Greyson Dante is still driving her wild with desire, he’s also acting strangely evasive. Then there’s the truth about Megan’s past — the truth she’s never known. Caught between personal problems and personal demons, Megan is having one hell of a hard time. Will the help of her Cockney guard demons and her witch friend Tera be enough so that Megan can finally resolve the past, survive the present, and face the future?

Book two in the Megan Chase series has Meg as the head of her own Demon Family. It’s been three months and needless to say, Megan’s not taking well to her family of Personal Demons. The Personal Demons want her to be strict and punish swiftly and Meg’s trying to run her demons a different way. Then the little demons start jumping ship on her! On top of that, Greyson is hiding things from her related to her and other families demons being killed. Not just killed, they explode. Meg’s past comes to a head when a family member dies and she finds out all sorts of horrible things in her past that’s made her what she is now.

I knew as soon as I finished Personal Demons, I was in trouble. I read this book in HOURS!! I was up until 2:30am because I had to know how it ended! I am trying really hard not to ask Stacia Kane what happens in the third book. *rocks back & forth*

Demon Inside is an amazing follow up in the Megan Chase series. There is non-stop action, as you can tell by my lack at self control whilst reading. Not only will you love the non-stop action, the drama with Meg’s family, the demons & the hot hot hot sex scenes with Greyson, you’ll fall in love with the worlds Stacia has built. The details depicting a funeral service for a demon, really was simply stunning in description. Honestly, one of the most amazingly described scenes I have ever read. I only wish it were real, so I could actually see it.

Demon Inside is a lot darker than Personal Demons, especially the issues Meg deals with from her past time in a mental institution and the issues surrounding her family. Much of the open ended parts of Personal Demons are provided with closure in Demon Inside, which made me love this book more. Though we learn a lot more about Megan, Greyson is still a closed book. Hopefully we learn more about him in the upcoming third book in the series. We also get a look at one of Meg’s personal demons, Roc. I love Roc, I thought I loved the brothers 3 demon guards, but no Roc is now my favorite. Who knew a little personal demon could be so snarky and lovable!

Really, I could make this review longer but I will save it and just say if you liked Personal Demons, you’ll LOVE Demon Inside.
