It's is an amazing book. I loved it, and devoured it. (Hate to spoil your theory, But I read it in less than 3 days. — We all have different reading abilities and appetites, one shouldn't project you own reading pace onto others. I'm just saying.)

Danielle has created a world I wanted to be in. I want to be an angelologist! (I have degrees in theology and we never had that kind of excitement! I want to go to that Parisian academy. The cloak and dagger is appealing.)

Like Harry Potter has inspired a generation longing to go to Hogwart's, so Danielle has inspired the study of angels, and perhaps more . . .

If you liked this, may I suggest a non-fiction book that will rattle your angel cages too? It's Angels on My Stage: The True Story of Eddie Benitez.

Danielle could use it as a reference book! This is a musician who claims his whole life he's been seeing and talking with and taught be angels — and now he's passing it on. And these are tough angels too. No wimpy greeting card angels. The real thing.

Check it out, and maybe do a review of it too.

Jennifer, i've read The Historian and i have to admit that it was hard to read (well, i am not a native English speaker and i've read it in both English and Romanian), took a very long time (a week on a book, if it is not Nietzsche, is long). this...you'll be staying up all night reading. I've read it in 2days :) loved it! and now we're publishing it! Best of wishes!

This sounds like a great read but I'm worried that it will be like "The Historian" which was difficult for me to read (I'm about 40 pages from the end, a year ago).

My question: Did the story keep you sucked in through the various multiple views? It's a weird question but if the story kept you intrigue then it's better than "The Historian".
