This time around the story focuses on Marcella, the ex-demon who saved her bestfriend, Delaney’s life last time around and helped her get the guy of her dreams. Marcella is stuck in limbo as a ghost after Satan banishes her from Hell, where she strikes up a “friendship” with Delaney’s dead dog Darwin. Darwin has been trying to help Marcella get off the “Drab Plane aka limbo” since she landed there three months ago, but Marcella has all but given up hope. All of the sudden Delaney’s brother Kellen happens to think of her and she’s back on earth, though only Kellen can see her. There’s also a child, Carlos, who can see her and they have no idea how or why he can see Marcella when no one else can. There’s also some big baddie after Carlos who wants to take him to hell and Marcella will do anything to not let that happen.

I can’t tell you enough how much I love Dakota Cassidy’s writing people! The love scenes are hot & the snark is true to form in the second installment of the Hell Series.

This is Dakota Cassidy’s best writing to date! The writing flows so together seamlessly be it the humor or the serious subject matter. The characters are well established right from the beginning and so well detailed it’s like they are people you know in real life. Darwin (the dog) is my absolute favorite character in the book, since he can posses bodies in order to speak to Marcella. He actually possess the body of a transvestite that had me laughing hysterically.

Kellen and Marcella are one hot couple let me tell you, they love to hate each other and when they learn to like each other, it’s straight hot passion. The plot line is great because you really don’t know whats going to happen next, there are just so many faucets to My Way To Hell. It’s a great balance of humor with a fast-paced plot line that kept me hooked to the very last line. Kudos Ms. Cassidy for making me snort & making me feel guilty for judging Marcella in Kiss & Hell, the first novel in the Hell series! My Way To Hell is my favorite Dakota Cassidy book to date, can’t wait to see what’s next. Don’t forget to pre-order your copy or get your copy on July 6th, 2010!
