So I made it through nine days without a steady Internet connection, I tweeted whilst in town shopping & once whilst sitting on top of a rock in the middle of a lake (seriously!) but that was it for me.
Friday June 25th to Sunday June 27th, I was a hot mess while sitting in front of the TV at the cottage watching my beautiful City become a War Zone thanks to G20. Saturday brought me to tears as I watched numerous businesses smashed & trashed, businesses I live beside & store owners I’ve known since I was a kid. I was livid & it’s probably better that I wasn’t home, cause I would have been out there fighting the protesters that caused the messes.
Anyways, you don’t want to hear about that now do you? If you want to see photos of the G20 aftermath, hit up my buddy Richard’s site.
I’ve go to thank all my guest bloggers, Synde, Dakota, Carolyn, FV, Brookie, Wendy, KC, Saranna, you ladies rock. And special shout outs to Jan & Pam who were behind the scenes making sure everything was okay while I was away. And thanks to all of you readers who made them all feel so comfortable, I got numerous comments that I have a great bunch of readers here and I couldn’t agree more! Ya’ll rock the casbah!
I am tanned, covered in mosquito & black fly bites…and of course I come home & my allergies start up! Go figure.
I read lots & drank more. I will be back to reviewing either later today or on Tuesday, but now I must hit my bed. Traffic was a bitch, 4 hours people FOUR HOURS in a bucket seat…my back it aches.
Glad yer back!! I’ll come back anytime you ask !!!
Thanks Synde!

::waves arms around:: welcome back!!
Danke
ooooh I was pissed!
and even more pissed (and still am) with all of the protesters crying foul at our police force.
arggggh! Don’t get me started!!!
*ahem*
WELCOME BACK! :p
Oh don’t get me going!
Welcome back, little mama.
Glad you’re back! I had fun guest posting.
The lake looks beautiful. It makes me long for summers spent in Minnesota, chasing fireflies, fishing for bullheads and baking Czech delights with my hard-scrabbled grandmother who kept every recipe in her head. I loved the early mornings with the loons on the lake, there was such peace there. Of course, then there were the nights where I sat up with a can of Aqua Net and my mother’s lighter and fried all the mosquitoes that tried to get inside. Yeah, I don’t miss that part so much.
You have my condolences on the asshattery.
Welcome Back! I enjoyed all the guest bloggers but I am glad your back
