Yesterday marked the 19th Dark Hunter release & because of that I have a giveaway just for you readers! Thanks to Ann-Marie at Get Red PR!
Many a Kenyon fan has said that that they have found sanctuary in her books throughout the years. Her fans also know about The Sanctuary, the fictional New Orleans bar in the Dark-Hunter world. Avid readers will often say that books provide a great retreat…that the release of a new book from a favorite author can make one’s day…that there’s nothing better than suspending disbelief and allowing oneself to sink into a storyline or a fantasy world.
We want to know what’s YOUR sanctuary? Perhaps it’s playing Rock Band on Xbox or settling into an episode of Star Trek. Perhaps you love spin class or heading to the park to sketch. Have your readers tell us about their sanctuary and why.
Randomly selected readers will receive a copy of NO MERCY.
US/Canada Only, Contest Ends Wed. Sept. 15th at 12am EST.
My sanctuary is my office, with my desk and computer, surrounded by all my books and things I’ve collected. It’s where I spend the most time in my house and where I feel relaxed.

My Sanctuary is a Good book and a Place to read it out of the way of other People.

Books are my sanctuary, my getaway, but aside from that, I would say my bedroom. It’s comforting and comfortable and de-stresses me

My sanctuary is my bedroom. Once the kids are occupied by something else, I like to go in there with my favorite book and be transported to another place. It’s my favorite thing to do.
My sanctuary is reading a good book while curled up on my sofa. Running also is a bit of a sanctuary for me.

Don’t laugh, but my sanctuary is the bathroom. I love my bathroom. It’s as big as our bedroom and has a deep set garden tub. I fill that sucker up, throw in bubble bath, grab my ipod and a book and I’m good to go. Plus, it’s the only place I’m guaranteed some privacy.
I have 3: my bedroom, with the comfy king size bed, my music and a book/movie/favorite show, a bath and a book, or going for a long walk. The last one is the only time I’m guaranteed to not be asked for something to eat or drink, to break up an argument, answer the phone, or 100 other things that always seem to need to be done just when I start to relax.
My sanctuary is my work/bedroom. It’s got all the things I love and everything seems to calm down when I’m making amigurumis or watching a movie in my comfy blue chair of doom.
My couch with a book, PS3 controller or a good movie.
My sanctuary is anyplace I can be to read. I find that books are my escape, and always have been, ever since I was young.

my sanctuary is snuggled up in my bed with my books especially when i’ve had a bad day it’s a great escape. i love my books ; )
My sanctuary is my laptop. When I need to get away from it all, I can (geek that I am) role play on YahooGroups, work on my books (writing), listen to music. As long as I have my laptop with me, I know I can escape from the stress of everyday life.
My sanctuary is my sofa reading a good book and getting lost in the wonderful world of what that author has created! Who could ask for more !?

My sanctuary is my mind. All I need is a blank paper and a pen, or a word processor and I can write and forget all about the world. They may not be amazing stories but they make me feel a lot better, and ignore everything around me.
My sanctuary is my bedroom. I can sneak away, mentally, physically, and spiritually regroup.
My sanctuary is sitting on my deck at the cottage in the morning with a hot cup of coffee and a great book.
My sanctuary is my bedroom. I can relax and read there.
My sanctuary is my car. Cause I can go anywhere I want. It quiet and peaceful. I can sit back and relax and watch people walk by.
My sactuary are my books. I know cliché but let me explain. 2 years ago, I was ina bitter court battle and it was draining the life out of me. The only way I could stay sane was the ability to escape from my own life and mind into a book. Some people use drugs or alchool , for me it was books. I could read 5-6 books a week. It kept me sane.
My sanctuary is anywhere that I can sit and write stories in peace. It’s nice that my place to hide is portable. When a pen is perched behind my ear, whether pouring over a laptop or notebooks, my friends and family know that it means, ‘do not enter’.
Although I can always lose myself in a good book, my garden is my Sanctuary (although I do prefer reading there to pulling the weeds, most of the time).
Mine is either reading, or watching Pride and Prejudice
My sanctuary is the internet. It’s where I can be with those I love, and hide from the rest of the world, while at the same time keeping tabs on it.
My sanctuary is my bed and the naps I take *happy sigh*
My sanctuary is reading. Sherrilyn’s books are the ones I turn to when I desperately need to get away or if I just want to feel extra happy

My sanctuary is my room at night when I can just chill out alone and read without any noise or chaos!
My sanctuary is a long hot bath with a good book. It is my escape from the 5 moneys and the ape in my house
My sanctuary is a good book!
My husband and my books!!
My sanctuary is my study with all my books and comfy couch. It’s the place where I can truly get lost in the world of a book.
My sanctuary? Well, that’s wherever I can sit down with my notebook and pen, or laptop– I like sitting in front of my shelf… but also love sitting in the kitchen, it has a nice view!
A book anywhere, anytime equals sanctuary.
Sherrilyn Kenyon is my favorite author of all time! (No, really!) So, no matter what mood I’m in I always love reading one of her books =)
My sanctuary is being curled up in bed with a good book
This is my favorite author and series. My sanctuary is in my bed with a good book!
As with most, my sanctuary is a good book — that I can read while the hubs is playing his video games and the kids are asleep. Other than that, I like to go for walks through the village where I live while listening to my iPod.
My sanctuary is a good book. I always say, “I live my life vicariously through fictional characters.”
Not to sound mushy, icky sweet or too clingy but my “sanctuary” for the last 29 years has been my Husband… If he and I are home together or out and about I feel like all is right with the world… Next best thing to spending time with him is spending time with my “best friends” since learning how to read, my books!

Oh, I would love a chance to win this! My sanctuary is a good book and sometimes a movie. They are just a place that gives me a bit of sanity and usually some much needed quiet.
My sanctuary is sitting back in a recliner and reading a good book.
My sanctuary is my bedroom, door closed, phone off the hook, curled up in bed reading an amazing story.

My big big bathtub – hot water, some bubble bath, a glass of something cool to drink and a good book…. ahhhh
Books are my sanctuary – I can go anywhere
I’d have to say that books are also my sanctuary. I love that no matter where I am I can escape it all between the pages of whichever book I’m currently reading.
For reading I have a nice comfy recliner and my snuggie (when it’s cold) for reading that I would have to say is my sanctuary and then I just delve right into the story, no interruptions
