Bodyguard Celia Graves plies her trade in a world where bloodthirsty vampires roam the night and street corner psychics have real powers. A vamp attack turned Celia into a unique creature who finds sunlight painful and must take all her food in liquid form—but who still possesses her human heart, mind, and soul.

The attack also awakened a hidden part of her heritage: Celia is part Siren, able to enthrall men . . . and enrage women . . . without half-trying.  Needless to say, her bodyguard business has taken off: who wouldn’t want to be protected by a sexy, extremely capable woman who is half-vampire, half-Siren princess?

An ancient rift between the demonic dimension and our own—sealed during the destruction of Atlantis—begins to open, threatening to loose all the demons of hell on humanity (including the one personally bent on destroying Celia).  Celia’s hellish recent experiences might have have given her the unique combination of abilities needed to close the rift.  But to overcome a death curse which nearly guarantees her failure, she’ll need to join forces with people she no longer trusts . . . and put people she has come to care about directly in harm’s way.

Demon Song is the third book in Cat Adams’ Blood Singer Series.

Celia is getting used to being part Siren & part vampire, but it hasn’t been easy. She’s faced off with a demon who wants her dead as well as the Siren Queen & lived to tell the tale all while her heart has been broken. But being Ceila isn’t easy, so she doesn’t get to rest after all this drama.

When she learns an ancient rift between the demonic dimension & our own begins to open. It threatens to turn loose all of the demons of hell on humanity, including the one who wants Ceila dead for good. Ceila needs to join forces with people she doesn’t trust, people she cares about as well to overcome a death curse.

I’ve been preaching to you all about how amazing this series is & I am going to do it again! If you haven’t read the first two books in the series, WHAT are you waiting for? Demon Song was a brilliant addition to the series, so much so I have had to hold back on reviewing my ARC for fear I would start to drive you all mad with my love.

Demon Song comes packed with romance, suspense, thrills & hardcore drama. Cat Adams together write brilliantly, the world building through-out this series has been phenomenal. I never come into a Blood Singer book with expectations because Cat Adams always blows anything I expect right out of the water with twists & turns right out of the gate.

Celia’s character just keeps getting better & better, which is why she is one of my Top 5 UF Heroines. She is one of the best written characters out there, she’s snarky, she kicks hardcore booty & she keeps going when her heart is broken.

Speaking of broken hearts, Ceila’s got all sorts of love interests going on in Demon Song. But I won’t give any of that away, its best left to you to read!

Demon Song is an excellent addition to the Blood Singer Series, it’ll thrill the pants right off you…okay maybe not, but it will not disappoint.

You don’t find siren, vampire, and princess just a tad over the top? I generally like Cat Adams but I just can’t bring myself to read this series because of that. I mean why not just throw ninja in there too while you’re at it?

Its not done over the top, honestly it’s just well written it doesn’t annoy me.

Oh! I am reading Blood Song right now (and there fore just read a spoiler – g- oh, well). I’m enjoying it as much as I enjoyed some of my favorite writer’s first books. I hope it continues for me. There was another series that I started reading by these two women where I really liked the first book, but then the second one read so …stiff and formal in the language, that I lost interest while reading, so I never bought the third book of the trilogy. In fact, I don’t think I even finished the second. Anyway, I’m having fun with this one and so far, haven’t noticed any of the things that bugged with the other books.

Ack. NEVER read a review of a series you are reading. Hell DO NOT read the blurbs either ;)

I haven’t read this series yet but like Buzz up there, I find it seems over crowded. But if you like then I;ll give it a try.

I am looking forward to reading this, i love the previous books in the series. The covers are really nice too! :)

Yes, good question Rina…who are you top heroines? Very interested in knowing that haha.

Obviously you don’t read Laurel K Hamilton, where her Anita Blake series, the heroine is a necromancer, girlfriend of the head Vampire, the enforcer of the local werewolf clan, the Nim Ra of the were leopard clan, has vampire abilities and an animal to call and her own vampire servants. Now that is over the top but really good. Next a similar series is Jeannie Frost’s Night Huntress series. where the lead character is 1/2 vampire and 1/2 human, for the first few books. That changes but you will have to read to see how.

Obviously you didn’t read the rest of my blog where there are tons of reviews for LKH. Though I don’t get your point at all, I also don’t see how you call the series good, it might have been at the starting it no longer is. I’ve read Frost as well, so whats your point?
