Can I say cookie dough? No? Okay, ummmm…my mom’s mashed potatoes. Still, I really do like cookie dough.

- Do you have any holiday family traditions?
A few…I love Christmas and I try to make it special for our kids. We almost always do one ‘fun’ thing like going to one of the zoos in the region to see the lights, or another Christmas event. We always put the tree up the day after Thanksgiving and we bake cookies and watch a movie. We try to drive around and see the lights a couple of times a year.
- Worst gift you ever received?
I usually don’t get bad gifts, but one year I received a gift certificate for a place that isn’t even in my area. It’s the thought that counts and all, so I didn’t worry about it too much.
- Worst gift you ever gave?
*G* I don’t give bad gifts… well, I try not to. I think one year, I bought one of the kids something and his parents had bought it as well. Maybe?? I can’t remember.
- Favorite holiday memory?
Every single Christmas. Watching them open their gifts.
- If you could share one lesser known fact about yourself to our readers, what will it be?
I dunno if this is lesser known or not, but I married my high school sweetheart…sixteen years and counting. J
- Weirdest thing you collect?
Wine. I love buying wine from various places I’ve visited.

My least favorite thing about winter is the extreme cold tempts. I like snow however could do without ice and tempts in the zeroes.

I could live with out the icy roads. I think the deer mess with me more when the roads get icy.
The snow I love the snow, the cold not so much <3 or when trees get ice on them
Having to get up extra early in the morning to clean the windshield on the car…that’s 15 minutes of snooze time I miss out on
I hate the school snow day scramble, when I try to figure out how to make work and childcare play nice.
The ice, dear lord, the ice. I can handle snow, but the ice is the WORST.
Not seeing the sun for days. I need sun to be happy
Least favorite…shoveling snow, losing power, and ice.
I can deal with the cold temperature but least favorite thing is when it rains. People here in LA drive like it’s normal weather and always over the speed limit, which is super scary.
The only thing I don’t like about winter is ice storms and icy roads. Thank you.

My least favorite thing about winter is I miss the flowers and green trees. Winter is just so brown and dreary.
my least favorite is the freezing cold temps. -20 to -30 C is to freaking cold

I hate ice. Hate. It. I love big fluffy snow though. I just wish we could have the snow without the slippery ice.
That’s a tough question because I live in California and we don’t really have winter here. It rains, but I kind of like that. So, I guess the only thing I don’t like is the short days. I hate going to work and getting off in the dark.

My least favorite part is being cold.
The cold for sure! Also, here in the city, the slush is the worst! All of that pretty white snow gets turned into a dirty brown mess.

I hate windy cold. I can be OCD about windchill factor.
I strongly dislike having to go out in the ice and snow. Love to watch it come down, and sometimes do not even mind cleaning it up, but hate having to drive in it
I don’t think I have a least favorite thing, where I live winter bring relief from heat and humidity so it is my favorite time of year, we get to wear pants and boots:)
My least favorite thing about winter is the wet cold that goes to the bones and just makes me ache and not want to get up in the morning LOL However, I do have to preface this with it is better than the extreme heat you cannot get away from – just no pleasing me with weather, but a good book makes everything right
On the subject of wine, we have an awesome store near us that has three versions of a chocolate wine that are to die for; one is creamy and the others are a deep red with hints of either deep dark chocolate or a lighter chocolate overtone – maybe something new for the collection for you 
Shoveling snow
I live in Florida, so there is not a lot to hate about winter. It has been warm the last few weeks.
I hate always being cold. The only good thing about it is the big fluffy pjs. But having to bundle up all the time and not being able to wear flip flops sucks. I know it could be way worse since I live in TX but…
Late snow. I love the snow, just not when it trails into March and April.
Don’t like the cold.
I live in Florida, so the worst part of winter is that it isn’t very special- there’s no snow, and the weather is only sort-of cold.
I haven’t experienced winter but I imagine I’d hate the cold.
I really hate walking on ice. Even with good boots on I’m afraid I’ll slip and fall! Thank you for the chance to win!
