The Cottage Vacation

July 6, 2009 in Robward Doll, Traveling

Ten days later, I am back. But you knew that already, and though Jan says otherwise I really was at the cottage.

The Friday we left, we were hit by some traffic but it wasn’t too bad, just enough time for me to play with my camera.

I’m Back.

July 5, 2009 in Traveling

I made it through 10 days of rain/black flies/deer flies/mosquitos, in tact and exhausted let me tell you.

150 pictures taken. 1 mild heart attack, which included me running across the deck whilst the guys watched a hawk land 3 feet behind me.

Once I check all of my 10000000 emails and upload all of those pictures I shall do a proper post.

A big huge Thanks goes to Jan, who had me giggling when I finally had a brief internet connection.

Slacking

May 15, 2009 in Traveling

Yes, I have been slacking something wicked on my blog. It’s been a busy week, packing for the cottage and finally getting my order of 5 new release books from Chapters. (Abeit two weeks later, grr). Add word and grocery shopping into that mix and I’ve just been blasted tired when I get home.

I am leaving for the Cottage in 4 hours for the May 2-4 long weekend with my better half and a bunch of our friends. It’s the first time this year everyones been up in a group!

So…there will be no Sunday’s Five this week as there is no net connection up there, unless the boyfriend brings the laptop and I sit for days on dial up..not happening.

To my fellow Canadian’s, Happy May 2-4. Don’t forget its 0.05 now, so the cops will be out in full force!

See you Monday night!

Cottage Bound

April 30, 2009 in Robward Doll, Traveling

Tomorrow at this time I will finally be relaxing at the cottage for the first time since last fall. I can’t wait to get out of the city and be surrounded by lakes and rivers.
