12 hours left of 2009 and all I can say is Thank Goddess it’s almost over! 2009 has been a pretty wild ride for me, a brief recap:

• Lost an Aunt to a massive heart attack
• Got laid off the same week as my vacation & still haven’t been able to find a job
• A week later, my cat was diagnosed with Diabetes & needed insulin shots twice a day (there went my severance pay)
• Somehow managed to break a bone in my foot the week before Christmas, thus starting the Pixie Pimp Limp to get things finished

Luckily, 2009 hasn’t been all bad:

• Started my blog in April, by September it had changed over strictly to books & reviews (as of today 240 Followers)
• Met a lot of amazing people during Seamus the cats Diabetes.
• September 11th now means something new to me, Seamus went into Remission & no longer needs insulin (at $75 CDN a bottle, Thank Goddess I say!)
• Met some absolutely amazing book bloggers, readers & authors
• Got introduced to some great new authors & read some great books
• Today, the last day of 2009 I finally got my hands on a copy of Jenna  Maclaine’s Bound By Sin & got all teary when I read my name in the acknowledgements. I damn near dropped my coffee! What a great way to end 2009, especially since Jenna was with me through-out Seamus’ & my struggle to keep sane. So go out and buy a copy!

Either way, I am glad to say goodbye to 2009! 2010 is looking pretty awesome if I do say so myself, I’m turning 30 in 2010! I already have my 30th planned, I’m renting a Rollerskating Rink & everyone’s invited! LOL! So mark October 17th on your calendars!
